Alessandra Ambrosio unveils the Victoria's Secret $2.5m bra in New York

The Brazilian model will wear the creation during the lingerie label's upcoming catwalk show in December

Alessandra Ambrosio unveiled the dazzling $2.5million Victoria's Secret bra in New York last night, as anticipation builds for the lingerie label's annual catwalk show in December.

The Brazilian model looked stunning in a champagne-hued halter neck gown as she attended the Victoria's Secret store in NYC's Herald Square for the official launch of the 'Floral Fantasy Bra'.

Valued at a whopping $2.5million, the push-up bra and matching belt is decorated with over 5,000 precious gems and was designed by jewellers in London. The bra is embellished with an array of colourful jewels including amethysts, sapphires, tsavorite and rubies, as well as white, pink and yellow diamonds, all set in 18 carat rose and yellow gold. It also features two removable diamond flower pins and the drop centerpiece features a huge 20 carat white diamond.

Victoria’s Secret Angel Alessandra will model the bra at the lingerie giant's upcoming catwalk show on 4th December – the first time that the Brazilian supermodel has worn one of the brand's Fantasy designs on the runway.

She will hit the catwalk alongside fellow VS regulars, such as Miranda Kerr, Candice Swanepoel and Erin Heatherton, for this year's theatrical lingerie spectacular, which will also include performances from the likes of Rihanna, Bruno Mars and Justin Bieber.
