The Denim Jacket Is The New Summer Biker Christopher Bailey simply loves good outerwear. He's previously reworked trench coats, leather bikers and aviators in hundreds of variations, but this season was the turn of the classic indigo jacket. Jourdan Dunn's came coated in fuchsia foil, while others had gorgeous white tulle peplums kicking out in a stroke of waist defining genius.
Cara Delevingne Didn't Walk Burberry's former leading lady Cara Delevingne chose to watch the runway rather than strut it, sitting alongside Kate Moss, Olivia Palermo and Paloma Faith on the front row. Mates Jourdan Dunn and Suki Waterhouse still gave us a twirl though, almost managing to avoid eye contact with Cara, who helpfully pulled a signature set of weird facial expressions as she played fashion critic on the sidelines.
We Were On JCB Watch That's Jamie Campbell Bower to those not yet in the know. JCB's model BFF's Charlotte Wiggins and Sam Rollinson walked in the show, as did his GF Matilda Lowther, who also happens to be our new girl crush. Got all that? Trust us, these are the hot names to know.
There Was Amazing Live Music In keeping with Christopher Bailey's support of British musicians, James Bay followed in the footsteps of Tom Odell, performing his new single 'Let It Go', as the models took to the catwalk. Download it now.
The Finale There's no finale like a Burberry finale. The brand's signature all-trench ending complemented the illustrated ceiling and runway floor, with the buzzwords of British summertime - Sun! Flower!... Insects?! - marked on in swirling bubble text to form a new statement print.
Until next season, Burberry.
