Kylie, Renee, Mariah and many more donate dresses for charity auction
Kylie, Maggie Gyllenhaal, Amy Winehouse and Renee Zellweger are amongst a host of stars who have donated gowns to the 27 Dresses celebrity dress auction, which starts today!
Many of the dresses have been seen on red carpets around the world, such as the white John Galliano gown that Kylie has donated, which she wore to Cannes in 2007. Mariah Carey, Geri Halliwell, Thandie Newton, Naomi Campbell, Heidi Klum have all also contributed gowns to the cause.
Going live on eBay tonight at 7pm, the auction will raise funds for the Lavender Trust charity, which supports women affected by breast cancer.
eBay spokesman Richard Kanareck commented, 'We expect a virtual stampede and heated bidding when these fabulous frock listings go live on Tuesday.'
The auction also coincides with the release of Katherine Heigl's latest film, 27 Dresses, which will hit cinemas on the 27th March. Dresses will be sold at three-day intervals, until the release of the film.
