Dua Lipa’s speech at the BRIT Awards was all about women and we’re feeling it
Talk about GIRL POWER...
Talk about GIRL POWER...
The BRIT Awards are well and truly under way, and we can already tell that it's going to be a big night for Dua Lipa.
Not only did she rock up to the red carpet in a killer tutu dress (one that would make Rihanna proud, we have to add), but she was the first of the night to scoop a gong.
Taking the prize for British Female Solo Artist, Dua made her way to the stage to give an impassioned speech.
Thanking her fans and doing it for girl power, the 22-year-old said: 'I want to thank every single female who has been on this stage before me that has given girls like me - not just girls in the music industry, but girls in society - a place to be inspired by and look up to and have allowed us to dream this big.'
'Thank you so so much. Here's to more women on these stages, more women winning awards, and more women taking over the world,' she added.
You go, girl.
