US President Donald Trump has become the subject of another allegation this month, with American journalist E. Jean Carroll accusing him of sexual misconduct.

The 75-year-old writer voiced the allegations in the New York magazine last Friday, becoming the 16th woman to accuse Donald Trump of sexual misconduct.

The alleged incident is said to have happened in late 1995 or early 1996, after the two ran into each other at Bergdorf Goodman in Manhattan, and Trump reportedly asked for Carroll’s help shopping for lingerie.

In the New York magazine piece, Carroll accused Donald Trump of pushing her against the changing room wall and allegedly forcing his penis inside her, explaining how she managed to push him off and run away.

Donald Trump has denied all allegations against him, dismissing the recent allegation by Carroll to The Hill this week.

‘I’ll say it with great respect: number one, she’s not my type,’ he announced. ‘Number two, it never happened. It never happened, OK?’

Since the accusation was made, there have been calls for further investigations to be made into it, with US Senator Mitt Romney calling it 'a very serious allegation', and stressing that he hopes 'that it is fully evaluated'.
