Creepy Colin is Marks and Spencer's new Halloween-themed Caterpillar cake

For years now, a Colin the Caterpillar cake has been the staple of every birthday party, no matter the age.
It's hardly surprising therefore that Marks & Spencer created many-a spin-off Colin.
There's now Connie the Caterpillar, mini Colin cakes, Christmas Colin and Bride and Groom Colin and Connie wedding cakes featuring edible confetti.
This autumn however a new Colin has been announced - and it's about time.
There is now officially a Halloween-themed Colin the Caterpillar - and he has the most hilarious name: Creepy Colin.
Yes, this is not a drill.
But what does Colin's creepy makeover entail? His usual pastel face has been changed to green to match his new green feet, and he has big red chocolate eyes.

And let's not forget, his body is now covered in sugar maggots and splattered with fake edible blood.
No Halloween spread will be complete without this £7 offering.
If Creepy Colin isn't for you however, there is a Christmas Colin that is set to hit the supermarket shelves soon.
Retaining the same deliciousness as always, he is covered in presents, snowflakes, holly and candy canes, and is even wearing red Santa’s hat and matching slippers.
Christmas Colin is a bit pricier than Creepy Colin - but at £10, he's still an absolute bargain.
If you'll excuse us, we're off to pre-order the entire Colin the Caterpillar range.
