Chris Evans accidentally made everyone think he was grieving
(Whoops)
(Whoops)
The actor, who recently opened up about his break-up with Jenny Slate, has admitted to being an open book with his emotions (have you watched our interview with Chris Evans yet!?)
So when he sent out a Tweet this weekend saying 'really missing this guy right now,' the world went into conclusion overdrive.
His fans all thought this tweet meant that his dog Dodger had died - and they freaked out.
The actor actually only recently adopted Dodger whilst filming his latest film Gifted. During an animal shelter scene, Chris asked if the dogs were actor dogs or actually up to be re-homed and they were! 'I was walking up and down the aisles and saw this one dude and he didn't belong there. I snagged him and he's such a good dog... He's got the energy of a puppy, he's just such a sweetheart, he's such a good boy... he's full of love,' Chris has said of his new four-legged pal.
The 36-year-old actor was then met with thousands of condolences from fans which he later had to clear up.
Even celebrities like Knocked Up's Seth Rogen got involved.
