Kate Middleton has announced that, along with Prince William, she will not be traveling overseas on a royal tour for the rest of the year. Instead she will spend her time with her new baby as she adjusts to motherhood.
GENETICIST PREDICTS WHAT KATE MIDDLETON’S BABY WILL LOOK LIKE
Last year the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge honoured their official royal duty when they visited the Far East and, after their wedding in 2011, they spent 10 days in Canada and America.
The couple’s principle private secretary, Jamie Lowther-Pinkerton confirmed the royal hiatus on Monday saying: ‘I’m not anticipating the Duke and Duchess taking on overseas tours because of her baby.’
He went on to stress that the option of a royal tour will be ‘assessed’ later on although it is highly unlikely they will travel abroad following the birth on their baby. However a source close to the royals told The Mirror that William may commit to a short trip alone.

The Duke will finish his tour of duty as an RAF Search and Rescue pilot in September but the palace will announce his plans after that in the next few weeks.
Prince Harry however has already signed up to a royal tour of America, he will make a stop to see the areas destroyed by Hurricane Sandy as well as continuing with his work for military charities in Washington, Denver, Colorado Springs, New York, New Jersey and Connecticut. He will also pay homage to his mother Diana’s most important causes, AIDS orphans and landmine charities.
Although he won’t be stopping by Las Vegas on this occasion…
