Exciting news just keeps coming in from the Zoolander sequel, which is apparently the movie to get involved with for 2016. Now Justin Bieber appears to be on board: yesterday the Biebs shared a photo of himself (in a slightly dodgy wig) doing his best Blue Steel with Ben Stiller. This followed a (not very) enigmatic post on his Facebook page earlier in the week: 'Working on something big right now in Europe... so hot right now.'
It's all shaping up to be a must-see. Last month Derek Zoolander and Hansel McDonald got their best modelling gig in years, when Ben Stiller and Owen Wilson posed in front of the Eiffel Tower for Valentino's Spring 2015 campaign. The pair were accompanied by (actual) models Tilda Lindstam and Xiao Wen Ju.
They also walked the catwalk - looking really, really, ridiculously good-looking - at Valentino's AW15 show in February.
So what do we know about the film itself? Well, the main cast from the 2001 original are all confirmed to return – Stiller, Wilson, Billy Zane, Christine Taylor, and Will Ferrell as Mugatu.
Penelope Cruz has signed up for the sequel - we can't wait to see what she'll be doing - and there are rumours that Cara Delevingne, Karlie Kloss and Gisele Bundchen could be involved too. Stiller also revealed last week that the comedian Kyle Mooney is involved; he's better known in the States, but that could be about to change.
The sequel appears to have a European vibe, with Stiller, Wilson and Bieber all making trips over here in the last few months. Could it be set at Paris Fashion Week, perhaps? Watch this space...
