You'll Never Believe Which New Book Is the Fastest Selling Debut Novel Of All Time...
It beat Harry Potter and The Da Vinci Code.

It beat Harry Potter and The Da Vinci Code.
Zoe Suggs's (or Zoella) book, Girl Online, has become the fastest selling debut novel since records began.
That's right, since records began.
The 24-year-old, who is a famous beauty vlogger (seriously, people go nuts for her YouTube tutorials) has sold 78,000 copies of her tome in the first week.
The first of a two-book deal with Penguin Random House, Zoella's debut novel has outsold Harry Potter, 50 Shades of Grey and The Da Vinci Code. To put it into context, 50 Shades of Grey sold 14,814 copies in its first week, while the first Harry Potter sold 1,000.
The book's success is down to her phenomenal online fanbase - she has six million YouTube subscribers and 2.50 million Twitter followers.
The record-breaking novel is about a young blogger who finds love on a trip to New York and has been billed as a 'modern Notting Hill for teens.'
