The singer says she’ll ditch the rapping in her most challenging performance yet
Cheryl Cole’s controversial protégée Cher Lloyd has revealed she’s planning to shock viewers on Saturday’s X Factor show, giving a performance with a ‘twist’ that will prove she can really sing.

The cheeky 17-year-old – who has caused waves in recent weeks, with fans apparently adopting a love or hate attitude – has told how she is planning an image overhaul and a completely new song style for the next round of live shows.
And according to Cher, those tuning in to see her usual ‘bad girl rapper’ performances are in for ‘a massive shock’.
‘This weekend’s going to be a massive shock and I hope everyone is prepared for it because everyone is used to me being a bad girl rapper,’ she revealed.
‘I’m going to twist it up a bit and prove to the other people that maybe haven’t liked me as much as my supporters have, to think that actually I’m an alright singer.’
But it seems her bid to win new fans is causing worry, with the singer herself admitting she is ‘very, very nervous’ about the different performance.
‘I’m very, very nervous about this one. This one’s going to be the hardest one I’ve done so far,’ she said.
Despite her nerves for Saturday's show, it hasn't been all rehersals for Cher. Earlier this week she was spotted at a Tiny Tempah gig in Camden, and yesterday she took a trip to the London Dungeons.
