Amy Winehouse loses £15k in flat burglary
While the cat's away, the burglars will play. Amy Winehouse's flat was raided by robbers yesterday who stole £15,000 worth of swag while she holidayed in St. Lucia.
The raiders kicked in her padlocked front door – and escaped with her flat screen TV, five guitars and digital recording equipment.
Police were called to her Camden flat after someone reported the robbery at 4am.
Amy, who's in the Caribbean attempting to get over her drug problems, is expected to fly back to Britain this weekend to start work on her third album.
A source told The Sun: 'Amy is devastated. Some of the guitars are irreplaceable due to their sentimental value.
'The flat is in a real state. It had been cleaned up in preparation for her return.
