A sneak peek at Whitney Houston making her final movie performance has debuted online, after the trailer for upcoming movie Sparkle was released.
WHITNEY HUSTON: A RETROSPECTIVE
The film, a remake of the 1976 classic of the same name, also stars singer Jordin Sparks, Derek Luke and hitmaker Cee Lo Green.
Inspired by the story of 1960's girl group The Supremes, Whitney plays Emma, mother to three daughters who form a sensational singing group, but later struggle to cope with life in the spotlight.
Earlier this year, Whitney's co-star Derek Luke spoke to MTV about her final performance, revealing: 'The beautiful thing about being in 'Sparkle' is that we had something that was recorded that I can hold onto, and in that time, me and my wife and Whitney ... the other cast, we really bond.
'Whitney did an amazing job, so I can't wait for people to see it and there's no great way to go out, but what a performance she had.'
