As if we weren't already kicking up our 1920s flapper heels in excitement over Baz Luhrmann's The Great Gatsby, coming out in May 2013, Warner Bros. has just released an amazing new trailer for the film.
WATCH: FIRST TRAILER FOR THE GREAT GATSBY
The highly anticipated film adaptation, which sees Leonardo DiCaprio - in the role of enigmatic millionaire Jay Gatsby - reunite with his Romeo + Juliet director Luhrmann, also stars Carey Mulligan as Daisy Buchanan and Tobey Maguire as the Fitzgerald-like writer figure, Nick Carraway.
The explosive new trailer shows off Roaring Twenties decadence at its best - glittering parties, Art Deco fabulousness and loosening morals - and Warner Bros. has also released new stills of the film highlighting the glamorous Jazz Age ambiance and costumes, and featuring intimate snaps of Leo, Carey and Tobey in action, as well as posters featuring all of the key players.
According to Isla Fisher, who plays Myrtle Wilson in the film, Luhrmann, the man behind Moulin Rouge, has stuck to a 'traditional' interpretation of F.Scott Fitzgerald's classic story of impossible love and shattered illusions. The actress told Digital Spy:
'It's very true to the story, I just think he's enhanced it in a way that only Baz can. I think he's a genius and from what I've seen, the movie looks phenomenal.'
