Kristen Stewart had the eyes of the world on her yesterday as she took part in a live interview to promote Balenciaga’s fragrance, Florabotanica. And she didn’t disappoint, despite the understandable nerves, the actress was refreshingly open.
ROBERT PATTINSON AND KRISTEN STEWART PHOTOGRAPHED KISSING
Over 5,000 questions were submitted for Nicolas Ghesquiere’s muse and although she wasn’t expected to answer all of them the pressure was most certainly on. But Kristen was happy to open up saying: ‘I like comfort, I’m very straightforward I go anywhere outside of LA and I forget to put socks on.’
When asked to compare Florabotanica to a film, Kristen picked Alice in Wonderland, comparing herself to Alice, admitting the colourful and swirling pattern that’s seen on the fragrance’s poster is what the inside of her head looks like.

Despite her slight awkwardness, with occasional hair tossing and fidgeting, Kristen believes she’s usually fearless adding: ‘[The fragrance] draws in fearless people, you need to be an individual. It’s not to be denied, it’s for somebody who is willing to let their face hang out. I try to do that every day.’

Of course no interview with the star could escape a mention of the turbulent time she’s had in her romantic life, and hinted at this by saying: ‘I’ve obviously been busy doing other things, I’ve been a little preoccupied.’
One relationship she was keen to talk about was with fashion though, ‘With high fashion you feel like you’re really telling a story,’ she said. ‘It’s part of a concept, it evokes a feeling. It can bring things out of it you couldn’t expect. You can unlock yourself.’
And it appears Balenciaga has the right key to do that.
