The songstress channels her inner extra-terrestrial in the colourful new collaboration with Kanye West
After Tweeting about the extra special E.T. release for weeks, US songstress Katy Perry has finally debuted her brand new video – a decidedly extra-terrestrial collaboration with rapper Kanye West.
The starlet channels her inner-alien in the slightly scary music film, and you can watch the very first sneak peek, here...

Granted, we've seen her in a wig or two, but Miss Perry is hardly recognisable in the other-worldly new video, which sees rapper Kanye west rocketed into space.
The Teenage Dream singer is transformed into a multi-coloured alien during the dramatic video, which pictures her floating through the atmosphere.
And that's not all. Katy experiments with not, one, not two, but three extra-terrestrial-inspired looks during the song, playing extreme dress-up with prosthetics, coloured contact lenses and shimmering face paint.
The starlet poses in a bizarre red creation, before transforming into an unnerving white alien, and finally a Cleopatra-style bronzed being, who lands on another planet and meets a - scantily clad! - male robot.
Earlier this month, the star spoke out about her marathon make-up sessions, and how a team of artists worked around the clock to create her coloured looks.
'It was, like, five and six hours, each make-up look. It was hard for me! It was really a patience thing for me on this video,’ she told MTV.
'But you know, it's like when you're doing a film,’ she added.
‘Sometimes you have to do prosthetics and you have to get really old or turn into an animal or a monster - and that's kind of what this process was.'

The video premiered in America over night, and Miss Perry's new track has since shot straight to the top of the charts.
'I just got off stage to amazing news. You've made ET number 1!!!' she Tweeted to fans.
