The star stepped on stage to take the lead role in the musical comedy, playing J. Pierrepont Finch, who manipulates his way up the corporate ladder, from window washer, to chairman of the board.
'Personally I find it a lot more interesting to do something which will take me a long time to prepare for, and I did a lot of preparation particularly in the dancing and singing for this show,’ Daniel revealed of his first musical role.
‘I find that a lot more fun when it's more of a challenge. It would be too easy to take the kind of easy ride.’
The production celebrates the 50th Anniversary of the Pulitzer Prize-winning play – which has only been staged three times before.
