The tiny teaser was leaked online over the weekend…
As out-and-proud fans of Stieg Larsson’s ever-popular trilogy, we just couldn’t wait to catch our first glimpse of the big budget Hollywood remake.
So you can imagine our excitement when the very first sneaky snippet of the Girl With the Dragon Tattoo surfaced online over the weekend…
MEET ROONEY MARA: THE GIRL WITH THE DRAGON TATTOO
Daniel Craig was first snapped filming the first instalment of the Girl With action movies during October last year, in guise as investigative journalist Mikael Blomkvist.
Next up, we spied formerly fresh-faced Hollywood newcomer Rooney Mara, who was barely recognisable after her dramatic makeover to play private investigator Lisbeth Salander in the hotly-tipped flick.
Following in the footsteps of Noomi Rapace, who played the leading lady in the Swedish subtitled films, 25-year-old Rooney was spotted emerging trailer sporting new jet-black hair, Lisbeth's striking facial piercings, ripped jeans and old taped-up boots. Eeek.

In keeping true to the phenomenally successful thriller, filming has been taking place in Uppsala and Stockholm in Sweden - the very same locations in which the story is set.
Now we’ve got our hands on the very first teaser of the David Fincher-directed movie.
And suffice to say, it looks very dark indeed…
The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo hits screens on 26th December.
