WATCH: Agyness Deyn speaks about her debut film role, and can’t help but mention London

Agyness Deyn has come a long way from her Mancunian roots (to Hollywood to be specific) but as the model treads the boards in her debut film role Pusher it’s evident that the UK still holds a place in her heart.
Speaking at the premiere of her first film, that’s set in London, she said: ‘You see London in such vibrant ways, it’s like it’s another character [in the film].’
For a girl who recently moved to LA to be with her new husband, Friends actor Giovanni Ribisi, and to foster a career in acting, it’s refreshing to hear her speak so fondly of the city that was once her home.
The former Burberry star is keen to distance herself from the fashion world as, instead of mentioning Pusher’s costume department, she praised its writer and producer, adding: ‘I heard a lot about [Pusher] it, and obviously Nicolas [Winding Refn]. I love his work.'
And fortunately for Agyness, and her blossoming film career, the feeling was mutual.
What do you think of Agyness Deyn going into acting? Will you be watching her first film? Have your say below.
