Victoria Beckham just admitted the most brilliant thing about her Spice Girls days

Victoria Beckham – we love her. We love her style. We love her Instagram. And we totally love how she does not take herself seriously in the slightest - and last night's admission about her Spice Girls was another brilliant example of that.
Having previously admitted that her singing voice could be below par, Victoria Beckham last night revealed that sometimes she wasn’t even allowed to sing with her fellow bandmates during the Spice Girls hey day.
Speaking at the National Portrait Gallery in conversation with Claudia Winkleman last night, VB candidly admitted that during most performances audiences were just listening to the other four band members sing.
‘They used to turn [the microphone] off and just let the others sing. I got the last laugh - and now my mic is well and truly on, finally,’ she joked.
However, just because she wasn’t allowed to sing, don’t think that VB was completely short changed, she did get to steal the budget and treat herself to her trademark Gucci dresses.
‘I was always the one that loved fashion and it was quite a result for me because the girls always used to get their clothes for free because they were crap and so there was a lot of budget for me to have my little Gucci dress.’

Reminiscing about her time as 1/5 of the biggest girl band ever, Beckham also recalled that out of the fivesome she was also 'the sensible one': ‘When all the other girls were being fun and spontaneous and jumping on tables, I was always the one checking the table wasn’t going to collapse. I was always the sensible one.’
We hear ya, Posh.
