Victoria Beckham to design Kate Middleton's honeymoon dresses?

The bride-to-be has reportedly requested a selection of slinky evening gowns for her first romantic break as a royal

With her wedding day dress well under way – and being kept firmly under wraps – bride-to-be Kate Middleton has turned her attentions to her honeymoon wardrobe. And which designer did she call on first? None other than fashion royalty, Victoria Beckham.

Rumour has it the future Queen is so taken with Mrs B’s dresses, she has requested a selection of formal, evening styles to take away on her first romantic break as a royal.

And that’s not all. It’s thought Kate has also asked Victoria for fashion tips, and advice on what to wear when she and her prince jet off on honeymoon.

‘Victoria is thrilled Kate loved her dresses and was only too happy to give her fashion tips,’ one insider told the Sun.

‘The ladies get on very well and Vic can't believe she is helping to dress the future Queen.’

Earlier this year, pregnant Mrs B let slip Kate had already asked to see some of her dresses, after several looks from the latest collection caught her eye.

‘Apparently she likes my clothes and has asked to see a selection,' Victoria told The Telegraph. 'It will be from my current spring/summer collection.'

'It's tremendously exciting and I would be honoured if she were to wear my designs,' she continued.

'I admire her tremendously. She's a beautiful young girl, and she wears clothes beautifully.'

The royal couple have yet to confirm where they will be going on honeymoon, although it’s thought they could have decided on Australia.
