Victoria Beckham disappointed Spice Girl fans when she decided against performing with the group at the Queen’s Jubilee concert earlier this year. But as speculation mounts over whether the Olympic Closing Ceremony will see the girls reunite, the singer reportedly feels ‘emotionally blackmailed’ into committing to the gig.
The pressure for the Spice Girls to take centre stage as the London Olympics comes to a close has allegedly got too much for VB with a source telling Closer magazine the star feels ‘forced’ into taking to the microphone one last time.

Victoria’s main concern is thought to be over her singing and dancing credentials – she’s fought hard to forge out a successful career in fashion and allegedly has no desire to be seen as Posh from the Spice Girls.
The source added that the brunette beauty feels as if she’s no exit strategy, refusing to perform at such a prestigious event such as the Olympics Closing Ceremony will paint a bad picture of her and she’s been emotionally blackmailed into committing to the show.

This news contradicts former reports that the power of seeing Posh, Baby, Ginger, Sporty and Scary (as we’ll always remember them) back together lies with Mel C with the Mirror reporting the ‘balance of power’ rests with ITV1’s Superstar judge.
The Spice Girls parted ways in 2000 but Victoria revived her role in the band for a world tour in 2008 although the singers failed to reform in time for the Queen’s Jubilee celebrations.
With New York Fashion Week rapidly approaching Victoria Beckham will no doubt be busy perfecting her pieces, but with fans and the rest of the Spice Girls gunning for the group to close the Olympics surely she has to say yes?
