Victoria and David Beckham are busy renovating their new London home this month, and the details emerging about their plans are making us feel positively green with envy.
The superstar family, who returned to London last year much to the UK media's delight, are currently renting a £45 million property opposite their new abode, while renovations take place.
We reported yesterday how neighbours were lucky enough to catch a glimpse of the £600,000 Beckham-commissioned Damien Hirst painting that will sit in little Harper's new room, which was moved into the rented property to keep it safe.
But it's the new details about the purchase of their London home which have made us choke on our cornflakes this morning.
According to The Metro, Victoria and David Beckham paid £31.5 million for their London home… in cash. Gulp.
The paper reports today that the famous pair were able to purchase their new property back in September without a sniff of help from a mortgage, and the cash deal was recorded just before Christmas. Wow.

Both David and Victoria Beckham were named on land registry documents as owners of the house, which is now being renovated and redecorated by their good friend, interior designer Kelly Hoppen.
And what an abode it is. The property boasts eight bedrooms, seven bathrooms and a 30m garden. Victoria will also have a huge walk-in wardrobe (very important), and a personalised dressing room with nail bars, claims the paper.
David will also apparently have his own 'snug' on the roof of the house with a pool table and bar. Seriously.
The pair's business recorded multi-million pound profits in 2012, so it's no surprise they were able to purchase the home, which used to belong to a company called Manduah International, with ease.
For now, until their dream home is complete, the Beckham clan will reside in their temporary £45 million rented house on the same street, just 90ft away, according to The Mirror. It's thought that they'll move in to their newly-decorated home just before Christmas this year.
Sigh. Room for one more, guys?
