Two men have been arrested in Devon, over a suspected 'murder plot' involving singer Joss Stone.
The suspects were discovered yesterday morning close to Stone's Devon home in Cullompton, in a car containing with swords, rope and a body bag.
The pair, aged 30 and 33, allegedly were also in possession of aerial photos of the 24-year-old singer's home, as well as plans of the property.
For legal reasons, they are yet to be identified and remain in custody at an Exeter police station. It is believed they had travelled form Manchester to Devon.
Police sources told the Telegraph that the pair were stopped while driving around the country lanes in a Fiat Punto and initially arrested for possession of offensive weapons and intent to steal. Locals had alerted the police that a suspicious car had been spotted in the area.
The source told the paper: 'They are being quizzed about a plot to cause Joss Stone really serious harm... The police want to know if this alleged conspiracy is about her money and fame or just some kind of resentment over her success.'

'It looks like this pair had an A-Z of what they were planning to do' the source continued. 'A body bag, swords and maps of where she lives in mid Devon were recovered. It looks like they were going to do her really nasty harm if they didn't get what they wanted.'
There is no word as yet from Stone's representatives, and it is unclear whether she was staying at the property when the arrests took place. She is thought to be in the UK and being kept informed of developments.
