Twilight’s Taylor Lautner hints at Breaking Dawn spin-off for Jacob Black and Renesmee

Twilight may now be over, which is cemented by Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson and Taylor Lautner doing their final promo and premiere circuit for Breaking Dawn Part 2, but before we all reach for the tissues, it may not be over just yet…

Taylor Lautner hinted that there may well be the option to spin out Jacob and Renesmee’s love story into a new Twilight film. Marie Claire met with the star on his recent trip to London and asked if we’d be seeing more of his romance with Edward and Bella’s daughter?

Taylor told us: ‘I could see potential, I mean it [Breaking Dawn Part 2] doesn’t really explore it, although it does have a nice close to it.’

Clearly he likes to keep us guessing! Although he rounded things off, adding: ‘I can see why fans would be excited to see more.’

But it’s not just the fans, Kellan Lutz recently told us that he’s not ready to say goodbye to his character saying: ‘I would love to show Emmett’s back story, a lot of the other characters [in Twilight] were able to do that. I love my character, we all would love to do it.’

And in case you needed more proof, Stephanie Meyer also said she’s not ready for the saga to end and said: ‘I planned out where it [the story] would go for a couple more books... there are other characters who I think would have a lot of voice in those coming stories.’

We can all now live in hope…
