Kellan Lutz slams Robert Pattinson for hinting at Twilight spin-off

EXCLUSIVE! The Twilight Breaking Dawn Part 2 star spoke to Marie Claire about the possibility of more Twilight films

Twilight Breaking Dawn Part 2 will be the final chapter in the onscreen love story between Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart’s characters, and while fans are desperate for the saga to live on, it seems some of the cast feel the same.

ROBERT PATTINSON HINTS HE’S KEEN FOR TWILIGHT SPIN OFF

Marie Claire online caught up with Kellan Lutz ahead of the release of the final Twilight film and asked what his hopes were for another installment. When we mention to Kellan that Robert Pattinson recently hinted at a spin-off for his character, he had a pretty strong reaction saying:

‘A spin off of his character? Hasn’t this whole saga been about his [Robert’s] character what more does he want?’

Of course this criticism was all in jest, but it prompted Kellan to get a little emotional about saying goodbye to Emmett Cullen.

He added: ‘I would love to show Emmett’s back story, a lot of the other characters [in Twilight] were able to do that. I love my character, we all would love to do it.’

But before you get excited, Kellan isn’t optimistic about a new book emerging: ‘It it going to happen? No,’ he told us. ‘Will Stephanie Meyer write a new book? Maybe.’

Although it looks like he could be wrong, Stephanie hasn’t dismissed rumours of a new book telling RTE: ‘I wouldn't say no absolutely. I'm not going to do it today, but I don't know how I'm going to feel in five years.

‘I planned out where it would go for a couple more books... there are other characters who I think would have a lot of voice in those coming stories.’

Hopefully for Kellan’s sake Emmett will feature in one of them!
