The trailer for Tina Fey, Maya Rudolph and Amy Poehler's new movie Sisters has officially arrivied and you need to watch it immediately - because it’s had us in stitches. And yes, it’s only the trailer at this stage, suffice to say we’re expecting VERY big things from this film.
Amy and Tina play estranged sisters who decide to throw one last, huge party before their parents sell their family home.
What could go wrong? Well, everything - obviously.
In case you weren’t already putting a note in your diary to see this film, Bridesmaids' Maya Rudolph is in it too, plus, the director is none other than Jason Moore - who helmed another of our favourite flicks, Pitch Perfect.
In short, we're fairly that Sisters is going to make us weep with laughter.
Due out in the US on the same day as Star Wars: Episode VII – December 18 – in a recent interview with The Guardian, Amy responded to the competition with her usual, brilliant deadpan delivery describing the intergalactic franchise as 'a small independent film'.

Amy also revealed that when filming the movie she and Tina rented a house together: '[Tina and I] got to spend last summer together. We rented a house in Long Island and had all the kids playing together. It was great. She is my comedy wife.'
Obviously, this isn’t the first time that we’ve seen comedy geniuses Amy and Tina unite – they started out doing comedy in Chicago when they were in their 20s, and went on to make a film called Baby Mama in 2008. They’ve also hosted the Golden Globes together a number of times and lest we forget that Tina wrote Mean Girls – which the pair both starred in.
The film is out in the UK on December 12. Watch the trailer below...
