Tom Cruise is apparently supporting David Beckham's acting ambition, following his recent retirement from football
Tom Cruise has reportedly promised to help David Beckham become an actor, following his recent retirement from football.
'Beckham has always wanted to be an action film star, and Cruise promised him a long time ago he can make those dreams come true,' a source told National Enquirer magazine.
Apparently David, who played himself in the 2005 film Goal!, is keen to pursue his acting ambition while he's still looking all fine and stuff.
'Beckham still loved soccer but feels that now is a great time to transition into film while he's still young enough to land top-notch roles,' the source added.
While we think if anyone is going to make David Beckham a silver screen star then it's Hollywood God Tom Cruise, we get a little nervous when people start thinking they can act just because they're famous.
