Thomas Markle Jr claims Meghan is only a royal 'because of her dad'
Meghan Markle's estranged brother, Thomas Markle Jr, has given another tabloid interview about the Duchess of Sussex in which he has spoken about his wish for the family to reunite and apologised for being a 'bad brother', before claiming that Meghan's marriage to Prince Harry is 'because of her dad'.
Meghan has had a difficult relationship with her family since becoming a part of the royal family - her half-sister, Samantha, is now being investigated for cyberbullying the Duchess and her father, Thomas Markle Sr has called her 'hypocritical' in recent months. Meghan's brother also claimed that the royal wedding left him homeless.
While Meghan has not commented on family matters, she is taking legal action against a number of newspapers alongside her husband, Prince Harry, for the publication of private letter to her father and 'false' and 'malicious' stories which the couple calls 'relentless propaganda'.
However, Thomas Markle Jr has since decided to open up about his relationship with Meghan and spoke about his hope for a reunion.
As reported by the Daily Mail, he said: 'I have been a bad son and a bad brother to Meg. I just want to put things right before it’s too late.
'I’ve had no business making things worse between him, Meghan and Harry, and I want us all, but especially them, to be a proper family and reconcile.
He continued: 'I hope Meghan gets in contact but my dad needs to prepare himself for it never happening. She did not get in contact after his heart attack.

'But what she needs to remember is that she is only in Buckingham Palace with Harry because of her dad. He paid for her education and fancy clothes. He helped her become the exceptional woman she is and I beg her to recognise that.'
Meghan has not responded to his comments.
