When we think of real-life pairs who remind us of Disney couples, two names come to mind: Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds. They had an awkward first date, Ryan recently broke a Cannes rule so they could be together, and this perfect pair is now expecting their second child. It’s pretty much Disney magic. Plus, Ryan Reynolds had the most adorable crush on Blake before they started dating.
During the premiere of Green Lantern – the film in which Ryan and Blake were co-stars – Ryan gushed about Blake in the best way. 'Oh, she’s quite a baker,' Reynolds told E! News in 2011. 'There’s nothing she can’t cook, that’s sort of the problem…aren’t actors supposed to be out causing massive amounts of bad press and trouble? But this girl’s in a kitchen all day, baking our crew on our movie—everything you can imagine. I mean she had soufflés coming!'
He added, 'What’s weird is she would live 30 minutes away but when she brought stuff it was still warm. I think there’s an Easy Bake Oven in her car.'
Clearly, Blake’s baking skills won Ryan over. She emphasized this during her interview for Vogue‘s '73 Questions' series when she revealed that Ryan calls their kitchen 'The Blakery.' Because love is real.
