The CCTV footage of Solange Knowles attacking Jay Z practically broke the internet last night.
The video of Solange Knowles appearing to attack Jay Z in a lift at a Met Ball 2014 after party nearly broke the Internet yesterday.
The CCTV footage, taken from a security camera at the Standard Hotel in New York, appears to show Solange getting up in Jay Z's face before violently lashing out and hitting and kicking the rapper with a very pointy pair of stilettos. Ouch.
The 27-year-old had to be restrained by a burly security guard while, interestingly, Beyoncé just stood there watching the altercation.
The video shows the bodyguard hitting the emergency button in the elevator, probably to stop the fight from spilling out into the hotel or street.
When the famous trio eventually emerged from the lift, Solange looked furious, Beyoncé had a remarkably poised half-smile and Jay Z looked shell-shocked.
Solange and sister Bey were whisked off in one car, while Jay Z hopped into another vehicle down the street.
