Something went down in a lift. Sound familiar?
You probably heard that Beyoncé arrived at the MET Gala 2015 - in that dazzling Givenchy creation - over an hour after the last celebrity had been photographed on the red carpet.
That's a hella lotta late, even for a powerhouse like Queen Bey. But it wasn't planned. Nope. The reason for Beyoncé and Jay Z's tardiness has been revealed and it's all to do with something that went down in a lift. Deja-fricking-vu, right?
Hold the drama, though, because this time it was all to do with Bey's 'do. According to her longtime hairstylist, Neal Farinah, the singer had a last minute change of heart about her hairstyle.
'For the Met Ball we did that high ponytail but that wasn't supposed to be the style,' Farinah told US Weekly. 'We did that in the elevator as she was on the way out.'
Bey had apparently originally opted for 'an asian-inspired chignon,' but decided the look was too 'costumey,'
'Then we were in the elevator on the way down, and she looks at me and says "Neal, I want to change my hair, will you change my hair?" And I said, "Honey, there could be cameras in the elevator,"'
