Prince William is second in line to the throne, after his father Prince Charles, meaning that he has spent his whole life preparing for the role. So it seems has Kate Middleton, who has apparently spent some time being coached on becoming a Queen.
No, don't worry. The Queen isn't going anywhere any time soon, but the monarch is apparently training Kate Middleton - just in case.
The monarch has taken the Duchess of Cambridge 'under her wing' and has reportedly spent 'hours' with her so she knows the ins and outs of royal life and the strict protocols to follow for when the time comes for the 37 year old to wear the crown.
A source told Us Weekly: 'She’s really taken Kate under her wing.'
Although Kate and the Queen enjoyed their first solo event together in almost a decade just last month, while Meghan Markle underwent her first outing with the Queen just weeks after the royal wedding, they have been spending a lot of quality time together in private in preparation for her future role of Queen.

The insider added: 'The two of them will often spend hours discussing royal life and the future of the monarchy. The Queen will give intense one-on-one training [to Kate] about taking on the crown.'
A second source said: 'It’s taken a long time for Kate to get to where she is today, but she’s ready.'
But Kate - who has Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis with William - has vowed to find a happy medium between her royal duties and motherhood.
The insider added: 'She’s determined to create a healthy balance between her personal life and her future role.'
