Clarence House has released the first official picture of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, ahead of their Canadian and North American tour, which begins next week.

The smiling couple posed in the grounds of their London Home for the picture, taken to mark their first official overseas engagement as a married couple.
It’s thought the formal photograph, taken on June 3, could feature in Canadian and American newspapers and on official websites ahead of William and Kate’s trip.
And if you noticed something familiar about the brand new snap, you’re certainly not mistaken.
Showing her frugal fashion side once again, Kate chose the same navy blue Amanda Wakeley suit she wore on an official engagement to Darwen in Lancashire, just weeks before the royal wedding.
Kate and William will embark on a 14,000 mile journey across North America and Canada, from 30 June to 10 July.
St James's Palace has released details of the itinerary, which covers nine days in Canada followed by three in Los Angeles, and includes visits to nine cities, including Gatineau, Quebec City, Montreal and Charlottetown.
One of the highlights is anticipated to be the couple's appearance at Canada Day celebrations in the capital, Ottawa, on 1 July, while they'll also attend the Calgary Stampede rodeo in Alberta.
