The Beckhams to move to New York so Victoria can focus on fashion career?

It looks like David Beckham won't renew his contract with LA Galaxy

Victoria Beckham and her brood look set to bid farewell to Los Angeles and relocate to New York so that the designer can concentrate on her blossoming fashion career.

It's being reported that David Beckham will not renew his one year rolling contract with football team LA Galaxy when it ends on December 31.

If Beckham fails to renegotiate his contract, it's thought that the entire Beckham family, including Brooklyn, 13, Romeo, ten, Cruz, seven and 16-month-old daughter Harper, will make the move east to the Big Apple.

A source told the Daily Mail: 'Talks have begun about the next step for the family and New York is one of the options being talked about seriously.

‘LA has given the family the outdoors lifestyle that they’ve loved for five years. But now the children are getting older and the couple both look to the future in their careers.’

Victoria Beckham, who is becoming a big name in the fashion industry, is said to have already started looking at properties and schools in Manhattan including the Convent of The Sacred Heart school for Harper.

The school overlooks Central Park and fees start at £23,221 a year. It has been attended by the likes of Paris Hilton and Lady Gaga.

The couple's spokesperson told the Mail Online: 'Since David and Victoria landed in America there has been speculation they will leave, yet they still love living there. David’s sole focus at the moment is winning another Championship.’
