Cheryl Cole has jokingly requested the expertise of Olympic diver, Tom Daley to show her how to perfect her swan dive

Cheryl Cole may be a genius at working gorgeous fashion and hitting the top of the charts, but even she needs help when it comes to learning to dive - and she thinks Tom Daley is the only man for the job.

When the stunning singer wants to master a new skill, only the best tuition will do which is why she’s asked Team GB’s most famous diver to show her the way.

The brunette beauty offered her support for the sporting star by tweeting him last night writing:

‘@tomdaley1994 I think you are amazing! Will you teach me how to swan dive?’

The request was somewhat tongue in cheek following Cheryl Cole’s surprise swan dive off the stage when she performed on BBC1 talent show, The Voice UK earlier this year.

The 18-year-old athlete wasted no time in replying and retweeted the message before replying with:

‘@cherylcole Of course!!! But first you need to follow me ;)’

We imagine a date for said training is yet to be arranged as Cheryl’s next message was simply a retweet from one of her fan groups.

Cheryl's tweet to Tom comes after a tough time for the young diver who was subjected to Twitter abuse following his coming fourth place in the synchronized diving.

A 17-year-old man was arrested in relation to the abuse although the sportsman insists he is taking the incident in his stride.
