Tess Daly is 'shattered' following recent revelations about her husband of six years
Tess Daly is reported to be heartbroken following revelations Vernon Kay sent racy messages to other women behind her back.
The star was said to be ‘shattered' on hearing the news about her husband of six years.
Vernon admitted to sending suggestive messages to glamour girl Rhian Sugden and ‘at least four or five others' behind his wife's back.
And friends broke the news to the shocked star late on Monday night, shortly before it made front page news.
Yesterday, Vernon told the Sun that Tess was ‘extremely upset' following the revelations. And today she told friends: ‘The trust is gone.'
‘At first she thought she could cope with just one girl, but then when the floodgates opened, she was devastated,' said one insider.
‘This is the man she has two little girls with, a beautiful home and a six-year marriage. She thought she knew him, but she said ‘the trust is gone' and I think it will take a while to regain that trust in the marriage.'
But despite Tess's anger, friends remain convinced the showbiz pair will not actually split over the events.
‘They are not going to split - that is not on the cards - but let's just say he will be in the dog house for some time to come,' one insider added.
