Strictly presenter Tess Daly reveals she is pregnant with her second child
Strictly Come Dancing presenter Tess Daly has revealed she is expecting her second child with hubby Vernon Kay. The couple decided to share the news with friends and family over Christmas and speaking to The Sun, Tess, 37, revealed: 'We are over the moon about the prospect of a new addition to our family.' Radio 1 DJ Vernon added: 'It's such a gift. We're so happy and overjoyed.'
The pair already have a four-year-old girl, Phoebe, together and are ecstatic about expanding their brood.
Speculation had risen over Tess's growing stomach and, according to the presenter, friends had been texting after her Saturday night slot and quizzing her over a potential bump.
However, Tess vehemently denied the claims, putting it down to a 'fat tummy'.
The TV couple's baby is due before the next series of the popular dance show begins.
