Taylor Swift may have some new hits about heartbreak coming out soon. The 22-year-old singer-songwriter has reportedly broken up with her boyfriend of three months,18-year-old Conor Kennedy.

'They quietly parted ways a while ago,' an insider told US Weekly. 'It was just a distance thing. No hard feelings. They're fine,' the friend explained of the split between Swift and Kennedy, the son of Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. and the late Mary Kennedy.
'It's been over a month since they've even seen each other. With her promotion for Red, she has no time off until the end of the year,' the source continued.
However, according to RadarOnline, the breakup occurred because Conor wasn't looking for anything 'super serious.'
'But Taylor is looking for her soulmate and it kind of freaked him out with how strong she came on,' a friend told the publication, adding:
'She was more obsessed with the idea of dating a Kennedy, than the actual Kennedy she was dating.'
Taylor's latest album, Red, was released this week and has achieved record-breaking sales and critical acclaim.
We're sorry to hear about the star's latest split (she's been linked to hunks including Jake Gyllenhaal, John Mayer and Taylor Lautner in the past), but if anyone can turn heartbreak into a hit, it's Taylor Swift.
In Marie Claire's November 2012 issue, Swift opened up about writing songs about her exes:
'Well, it's not like it's in fine print. But music is absolutely everything that I am and everything that I stand for.
'It's not my fault if someone gets into a relationship with me and then cheats and I write a song about it.'
