Rumour has it Hollywood's hottest new couple went their separate ways last week

One of Hollywood’s hottest young couples - and the stars of new movie Abduction - Taylor Lautner and Lily Collins have split, according to reports.

It’s thought the pair went their separate ways earlier this month, just weeks before the premiere of the upcoming action flick in LA.

And according to sources, it was Taylor who called time on the whirlwind romance.

‘It was a clean break that Taylor initiated,' an insider told American Us Magazine. 

‘At the Abduction party, it was awkward. They barely said a word to one another.’

Despite never confirming their romance, it’s thought lovely Mr Lautner had even met Lily’s dad, Genesis rocker Phil Collins, with their Abduction co-star Denzel Whitaker spilling the beans on their romance.

'It's kind of like that teenage love in high school,’ he revealed earlier this year. ‘It was kind of like, 'Let's go on a date'... I think the chemistry's naturally going to show. It was off set so it definitely came on set.'

And also Lily promised steamy moments aplenty in the soon to be released film, revealing we’re set to see a whole different side of her now ex-beau.

‘[He is] very Jason Bourne-esque, of course with his own twist on it,’ Lily gushed of Taylor’s character to MTV. ‘It's a complete departure from Jacob.
