Katie Holmes and Suri Cruise were reunited in New York yesterday, after little Suri returned from a trip to Disney World with dad Tom Cruise.

The mother-daughter duo were all smiles as they enjoyed a girls day out in the city, soaking up some culture at New York's famous Museum of Modern Art.

After admiring some of the artworks inside, Katie, dressed in a smart shirt and jeans, and Suri, looking super-cute in a white dress and adorable pink headband, sat outside for a snack before continuing on with their fun-filled day.

Earlier this week, Katie Holmes was spotted out and about in the city looking a little glum, as her daughter and former hubby Tom Cruise enjoyed a magical trip to Disney.

Earning himself some serious brownie points, Tom Cruise pulled out all the stops for his latest adventure with Suri, treating her to a day at the Florida theme park, a trip to water world Blizzard Beach, and even a night in the Magic Kingdom castle.

Even we're jealous.

'It was really cute. Suri was 'having the time of her life and Tom, who looked really handsome, was really engaging with her,' one onlooker gushed of the pair.
