The Suicide Squad trailer is here… And it is all kinds of amazing

Superheroes are old news, at least that’s what the new Suicide Squad trailer would have us think after releasing this brand new trailer…
Showing off the film’s all-star cast. Will Smith plays Deadshot (‘He shoots people’), Margot Robbie stars as Harley Quinn (‘She’s insane’) and Cara Delevingne shows up as the Enchantress who is described as ‘possessed by a witch.’ Yeah, it’s not your usual band of heroes.
The most exciting news though? We get our first look at Jared Leto as the Joker, who is the first actor to take on the role since the late Heath Ledger won an Oscar for his iconic take on the character in Christopher Nolan's The Dark Knight.
Previously, we were introduced to the characters in another trailer, with Queen’s iconic Bohemian Rhapsody playing, the trailer does a lot in setting up DC’s antihero team and it’s light-hearted take on super villains. When the government has a mission that is considered too risky to bring in the good guys, they form the ‘Suicide Squad’, a team made out of the worst criminals and villains who must complete their mission or die trying.
The trailer also comes with our first official photo from the film, in a colourful poster where the Squad forms their version of a off-putting smiley face.
While there’s still a while to go until the film is officially released, DC's next big cinematic release will be Batman V Superman due this summer. And rumour has it, Ben Affleck (or Batfleck?) will be making an appearance in Suicide Squad as well.
