Mel B has just unfollowed Mel C on Instagram
Looks like she doesn't Wannabe friends anymore.
Looks like she doesn't Wannabe friends anymore.
We aren’t ashamed to admit that we were so looking forward to the Spice Girls' 20th anniversary celebrations this year, and were fully expecting the four of them - minus Victoria Beckham - to tour.
However, those dreams have been dashed along with our Adidas tracksuits, as Mel C has pulled out of reunion with the girls to see in twenty years of Wannabe.
So come on then Mel, what’s your excuse for breaking our hearts?
A source told The Sun: 'Mel C is out of the reunion for now. She has essentially left the band to focus on a more serious music career.
‘She loves the girls but it just didn't feel right for her to reunite with them at the moment.' The insider continued: ‘She has other priorities and obviously it was a bit of a problem that Victoria made it clear she wasn't going to be part of the reunion.’
Whilst reps for the Spice Girls are still insisting that the girls all love each other, it seems like there could well be something brewing between the two, as Mel B, who is still onboard to reunite, has unfollowed Mel C on Twitter and Instagram. Which we all know is the 2016 equivalent of slamming the friendship door in someone's face and telling them to delete your number.

The two haven't always had the easiest of relationships, with Mel C telling Heat magazine in 2012. 'Me and Melanie B used to get a bit pushy-shovey but we're talking years ago. We've had some humdinger rows and some raised voices, but I don't think anythings ever been thrown - no injuries inflicted on each other - only mental scars!'
However, all is not lost, because the remaining three Spice Girls, Mel B, Geri Horner and Emma Bunton are still looking to do something special to mark the occasion, even without Vic and Mel.
‘Mel B and Geri in particular are still determined to mark their anniversary in some way. They are arranging a number of meetings which include the option for a tour, possibly with just the three of them or with other singers,' said the source.
And now for the best bit…
‘There have even been the suggestions of a Spice Girls talent show. It would be an absolute TV sensation. Could you imagine the opportunity for a member of the public to become a Spice Girl?’
Shut. The. Front. Door. Yes, we can imagine the opportunity for a member of the public to become a Spice Girl, as in us.
It doesn't matter that we can't sing, right? *Digs tracksuit out of bin*
