Sophie Ellis-Bextor postpones own tour to support Take That in Europe
Sophie Ellis Bextor has postponed plans for her own live dates so she can support Take That on their European tour.
The singer was asked by the group to join them on all of their 34 shows, but date clashes meant she had to pull out of her own tour.
Ticket sales for the original dates will still be valid, and she has promised that next year's shows will be better than ever.
Bextor apologised to her fans, saying it was proving 'incredibly difficult, if not impossible, to do both.'
But the opportunity to work with the universally-loved 'man band' was too tempting to turn down.
'I'm thrilled Take That have asked me to tour with them. It's a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity any girl would be a fool to turn down,' she admits.
