Spolier alert! New SATC movie details are revealed
If you were a team Aidan girl back when Sex and the City was a weekly, small-screen fix, then the big screen sequel is going to be right up your street - as Carrie's ex is officially back!
A new trailer, debuted at last week's Showest film fest, revealed that John Corbett, who played Carrie Bradshaw's beau across two series of the hit show, will return in the second movie.
But it won't be a Big Apple reunion for the pair - they'll meet up in Abu Dhabi.
The four leading ladies filmed a large chunk of the film on location, with SJP telling an interviewer at the movie convention: 'This is probably the most time the characters have ever spent together. Simultaneously, it was the first time that the four actors left the country, lived together, worked together for almost eight weeks solid... It is the most fun and the hardest we've ever worked together.'
Reportedly, the quartet travel abroad as Samantha sets out to visit her ex, Smith, on the set of a new movie he is making.
The new trailer also revealed insights in storylines for all the lead charcters, with Charlotte overwhelmed by family life, Samantha struggling to stay youthful and Miranda dreaming of ditching her career to become a housewife.

Director Michael Patrick King also acknowledged that the big question on everyone's lips would be whether Carrie has a baby. He responded: 'So we move from marriage to the next logical place in people's minds, is she having a baby? It's one of the thoughts of the movie. For me, I always like to do something that's individualistic and unique for Carrie Bradshaw, since she is one of a kind.'
