Despite the initial hoo-hah when Selena Gomez went public with her relationship, it seems that things between the former Disney star and The Weeknd are going from strength to strength.
When news broke that the popstars were an item, we saw Abel Tesfaye's former lover, Bella Hadid, getting shady on Instagram and her friend, Hailey Baldwin, even stepped in to make some bizarre digs at Selena.
However, now that the dust has settled, it has been rumoured that Selena and Abel are making music together and they're looking every bit like Selena's parents did at their age (and it's bloody uncanny).
The made their first public appearance together at the Met Gala in May, and Selena has finally decided to explain exactly why she didn't want to hide her relationship.
Talking on radio show On Air With Ryan Seacrest, Selena said: 'Because I've been doing this for so long, I don't feel like there's anything that I would want to … not necessarily hide, but I'm genuinely myself.

'I think it's really hard when I would want to spend so much time hiding things. It's too much pressure, and I think everyone gets over everything eventually.
'I just want to be happy. If that's me just being myself, then I don't really care.'
