Bikini special! Jessica, Carla, Nicollette and Miranda give us all beach-body envy

Need that last-ditch boost of encouragement to get bikini-ready for your next summer sojourn? Well, we have the perfect extra impetus to get to the gym – just look to the weekend's bevy of A-list beach beauties.

First up, and Jessica Alba showed off her fantastic form, as she hit the beach in Malibu with husband Cash Warren.

Just over a year after giving birth to daughter Honor Marie, and the Hollywood starlet showed off her tighter-than-tight physique, and flat toned tum in a skimpy strappy bikini.

Also lapping up the Malibu rays was Desperate Housewife Nicollette Sheridan, age-defying as ever, and easily looking half her 45-years, as she frolicked in the waves in a simple white two-piece.

Meanwhile, down under and hard at work, Miranda Kerr posed in a series of skimpy swimwear for a photo shoot on Bondi beach. No wonder Orlando Bloom's so smitten - the model's picture-perfect figure is seriously envy-inducing!

But it's not just the stars flaunting their beach-ready bods.

French first lady, Carla Bruni-Sarkozy, enjoyed some R&R with husband Nicolas, as he recuperates from his health scare last week, with a three-week break in Cap Negre, near Marseille.

The former model showed off her still-catwalk-worthy figure in a black string bikini, as she relaxed in the waves beneath a straw hat.

Looks like we'll be hitting the gym this week then!
