Ashton Kutcher's pranks continue with digitally-enhanced photo of Demi Moore

Discontent with a certain lack of media coverage of late, Ashton Kutcher is back in the land of Twitter, playing pranks again and once more, it’s his wife Demi who’s the butt of the joke.

Thirty-one-year-old Kutcher has posted a new photo of Ms Moore sporting a frightening new hair trend – a Mohican.

A clever and, it would appear, rather lengthy amount of time on Photoshop left Kutcher’s wife with a totally shaved head, save for a cockatoo-style central strip of hair standing two inches high.

Seemingly in homage to singer Rihanna’s new daring ‘do, Ashton wrote on his Twitter page: ‘Wifey just got a new hair cut, what do you guys think? I love it.’

Demi responded to her hubby’s latest prank writing: ‘I have the buzzer ready baby.’

To which Kutcher replied: ‘I’m just playing baby but I think you’d look great with that cut.’

Thank you love. How' bout I shave your initials into my head,' responded the actress.

The exchange continued for all the world to see but when the Punk'd star attempted to lower the tone by suggesting Demi shave his initials somewhere other than her head, she stopped the banter taking a nosedive and asked: 'Like my armpit?'

Moore fans can rest easy that the 46-year-old won't be resorting to her infamous hairstyle from her GI Jane days as the posted photo appears to be digitally altered.

Mr and Mrs Kutcher are the most high profile Twitterers on the micro-blogging site with over 2.8 million followers between them. Happily sharing intimate details with the rest of the Twitter population, Demi is no stranger to embarrassing posts courtesy of her husband. Earlier this year Kutcher posted a picture of Moore bending over in her underwear.
