Cameron Diaz swaps Hollywood good girl for sexy gothic glamour in sauciest photo shoot to date

You’d be forgiven for thinking that this cone-bra bearing peroxide blonde is Madonna, circa 1990, but no: it’s Hollywood golden girl, Cameron Diaz!

The A-list actress recently swapped her elegant, wholesome image for an altogether raunchier version for this month’s V magazine.

Gone are the long beachy LA locks and, in their place, a quiffed white-blonde crop.

Gone are the sexy but elegant red carpet dresses and, in their place, a cone bra, teeny-tiny shorts and black leather over-the-knee Prada boots.

On top of that, the star also had a naked lady and a dagger through a heart temporarily tattooed on her arm for the tough-girl shoot, which was a nod to Madonna from her controversial 1990 Blonde Ambition tour.

In the interview, Diaz talks about her role in the new My Sister’s Keeper, an adaptation of Jodi Picoult best-selling novel in which she plays Sarah Fitzgerald, the devoted mother of a teenage girl dying of cancer.

Cameron – best known for her light-hearted roles in movies like There’s Something About Mary and Charlie’s Angels – admitted her desire for meatier roles.

She said: ‘I don't make movies for my ego. I do them for my personal growth and to give something to an audience.

'I'm not going to be the 23-year-old ingénue again. If I tried to hold on to that, I'd be a pretty unhappy individual.'

The 36-year-old A-lister – who recently split from Brit model Paul Sculfor – also revealed that playing a mother in the movie didn’t necessarily make her broody.

‘I don't declare either way if I'm going to have children. I don't know what will happen... and I'm totally fine with that.’
