The actress plays a drug mule who takes matters into her own hands in her dark sci-fi thriller, Lucy
Scarlett Johansson is having a major moment right now.
She seems to be pumping out one interesting, edgy film after another. Plus, she's also engaged and pregnant with her first child. Let's just say she's got a lot going on.
In February, she lent her voice to the eery, futuristic love story Her. Then last month month she played an alien seductress in the indie drama Under Her Skin. And now the trailer has been released for her dark sci-fi thriller Lucy. (Of course, the more mainstream Captain America movie was in there, too - but she does play a total badass in the series.)
In Lucy, Scarlett plays a woman who's forced into being a drug mule. But when the drugs leak into her system, she unlocks a new level of mental capacity.
The premise seems similar to Bradley Cooper's 2011 film Limitless - but with much more female butt-kicking. Plus, Morgan Freeman costars as a professor doing brain research in Lucy, so it has
